Confession – I almost didn’t write Here We Grow because I was scared of being pigeonholed as a poster child of cancer. Obviously I got over it, because this isn’t a book just about surviving cancer but thriving in life. But I couldn’t help but giggle as I walked in and saw this, a literal poster announcing my first keynote speech. To unofficially launch with an audience of cancer patients, their families, and medical professionals who all received advanced copies of my book was a beautiful full circle moment. As always, good one universe, good one. Thank you to the committee members of Celebrating the Art of Healing for inviting me.
- Poster child?
- Welcome everyone!
- Enjoying the moment.
- How do we build resilience?
- Oprah and Tulsa driller, pretty much explains my childhood:-)
- Yay – a question (from my dad:-)
- That was so much fun!
